Don't do it!

Got a text from my son early this morning to say he'd arrived back in Christchurch. What a long journey!

Very mixed weather here in France so I checked the meteo which gives a likely rainfall in the next hour and although the sky looked brooding the forecast hour looked clear. So I set off on my bike to Aubeterre. It's about a two hour round trip. Stopped for coffee in the village square where I took this then headed home. Rain in the air but made it back just in time! A downpour. Feel all the better for the ride. Mr A is in the UK for dental work at the moment back Saturday so I'm enjoying this very alone time for a few days.
