Lovely day.    A walk, a long listen to Saturday at the Opera…Tannhauser…and then our 2 neighbors and friend Mike came over for herring and Swedish cheese and drinks …so nice and relaxing to sit and chat.    The gals went home and our Nextdoor neighbor stayed for awhile ( we are the original owners here since 1987).  So we got out the aquavit for a proper toast with the herring!  (Aren’t my dad’s glasses great?) 

PS.  The ornament yesterday was supposed to look like David Hockney, the British artist I admire for his iPad drawings.and to whose exhibits friend blipper Wendy Heretook us when we visited there in 2017.   Jeanneb and PaulaJ knew it!
