I See No Socks

Paraphrasing Horatio Nelson at the Battle Of Copenhagen.  The evidence seems a bit apochryphal but it's a good story.

The Admiral Hyde Parker sent a signal via flags ordering ships to discontinue action. Nelson, who was blind in one eye, raised his telescope to his blind eye and said "I do not see the signal" - there are many variations on this story.

It is apparently also the source of the phrase "turning a blind eye" to something.

Rani playing with socks - she's a pretty puss.
