Nobody needs to go hungry!

Today was prep time for the Christmas lunch served for free tomorrow. We have been volunteering at the River of Life church in Dumfries for some twelve years or so. On Christmas Eve food donations are turned into soup and other delicious meals and will be served to anybody for free on Christmas Day.
Also, anybody who wants to pick up some surplus food from supermarkets can do so this evening at 7pm. We helped lay out the first batches of food earlier and there is more to come when the supermarkets close shortly. It is just extraordinary to see the amount of food being donated and stopped from going to landfill.
