Bottoms Reservoir Fountain

I went to see the water levels in a short gap in the hours of rain and high winds.

The River Etherow is in spate through the Longdendale valley creating the spectacular  fountain. The water heads to the Irish Sea joining the  River Goyt running into the River Mersey.

Listened to the last 40 minutes of Guy Garvey’s Finest Hour on 6Music
…. Will have to find it to listen again !
