Shucking
A French tradition at this time of year.
New knife worked much better than my other one and I got a pair of metalised gloves which look very woolly but prevent accidental cuts. Took me about 45-50 mins to shuck 24 which is record time for me!
Only one looked a bit funny so we didn’t eat that. A very nice shallot and vinegar dressing was made and fresh lemons were also used. Yummy!
