Gulls From Iceland
This is, apparently, the Glaucous gull which breeds and lives in Iceland during the summer months but can be found here in the UK in the winter.
It is an adult in it's winter plumage and the red spot on it's large yellow beak is very distinctive. It's a first for me so I'm rather pleased to have captured it.
A close relation is the, rarer, Iceland gull but my feeling is that I have got the right one (happy to be corrected, of course).
