MDI from Schoodic

Generally when heading to the Point we don't bother to go around Schoodic, but today we actually went out to the peninsula proper and I wandered around the rocks a bit while my wife enjoyed the scenery and ate sardines. It's easy to see how someone could get swept away by a big wave out on these rocks. Not the sort of place to play around on when it gets icy! Across the way you can see the island we came from. It's a much more scenic trip by boat, but we don't have one of those.
