Christmas Eve. Five Reindeer.

Santa has nine reindeer. Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph.

The 1823 poem ‘A Visit from Saint Nicholas’ or most commonly known as ‘Twas the Night before Christmas’ by Clement Clarke Moore referred to the ‘eight tiny reindeer’. Rudolph appeared in the late 1930s.

Our younger son and partner came to visit this afternoon. We’d a nice chat.

The wee family sent their first “Christmas photo” together.
