Favourite toy

A warm grey windy day.  It's Christmas Day Eve and both children slept until almost 9am.  As our daughter had a few items she wanted to get I volunteered to take her to the shopping centre.  We were pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't that busy and we quickly managed to visit several shops and get what we wanted. 

The rest of the day has been a mix of playing with the grandchildren and cooking various items in preparation for tomorrow.  Our youngest grandson is pictured playing in his jumperoo, one of his favourite toys.  

Our daughter, son and son in law had the job this evening of assembling a rather impressive Thomas the tank engine track for our oldest grandson, his present from Santa. 

Apparently it's been the warmest Christmas since 1997. Not long before it's Christmas now.   Enjoy your celebrations.
