Lunar rainbow

There was a lovely lunar rainbow last night. I took so many pictures. None of them, not a one, showed the rainbow. No idea why.

This is on the steps of a neighbor.

We don’t need to worry about getting a photographer in Goshen. The woman didn’t get back to me. Sigh. Thank you for sharing my enthusiasm.

I worked on the survey today. It is taking longer than I expected but at least it is going. I thought it would randomize the questions - which would be really great - but it will only randomize the answers (pictures) - and whoopdidoo. But the main thing is that it seems to be working.

Ok, the Netherlands is giving Ukraine 18 F-16 fighter jets.

Ukraine shot down the Russian planes with Patriot missiles from the US.

Japan is changing its laws. It is licensed to make Patriot missiles. Its laws prevent it from selling weapons to other countries. It is changing its laws so it will be able to sell them to countries like the US. This will make it easier for the US and other countries to then give their own Patriot missiles to Ukraine.

Carol of the Bells is a Ukrainian song called "Shchedryk" written by composer Mykola Leontovych and first performed in Kyiv at Christmas 1916. Ukraine declared independence after WW1. Politician Symon Petlyura decided to send the Ukrainian National Choir on a world tour as musical diplomacy to raise Ukraine’s standing. A Kyiv concert on Sunday will recreate its first US concert performance.
