Last night.....

..... I slumped on the sofa, cosy and warm with a glass of mulled wine and watched mindless television. Relaxed bliss.

It is Christmas day now, we have the morning to ourselves and will go over to son #1 place for a family meal and get together.  Chaos is promised  - two excitable dogs that don't know each other,  grandchildren, 3 sons, 2 d-i-ls (the 3rd one is a doctor and  is having to work a shift at hospital) and a set of in laws.  We will have a wonderful time.
The southern hemisphere is getting ready for bed, their day over,  ours just starting.  I wish everyone a pleasant and happy day whichever end of it you are at.
