Pilgrimage to Agatha

Day of mixed fortunes- planned a visit to Agatha Christies' summer home- Greenway House. Murky day weatherwise. Was supposed to travel by vintage bus, but apparently it was fully booked, and anyhow it was a transit minibus! So we opted for steam train & half-hour woodland hike to get there, and had a lovely time. I seem to spend more time & energy picturing food & cakes than anything else, and todays' is the National Trusts' Carrot cake while we were waiting for our time slot to go into the house.
