Christmas

It was movie time today as an old friend came over (and brought popcorn). First, it was “Miracle on 34th Street.” Then “Elf.” Two Christmas classics.

Spoke to Reno brother and heard from Albuquerque brother. He’s still testing positive for Covid. I also received a text from Buffalo SIL, which was only the second time I’ve heard from them in four years. It’s a part of my family that I have written off. Not sure that I have ever mentioned that I have a third brother in a blip. You can pick your friends. You can pick your nose. But you can’t pick your family. Fortunately, two out of three brothers ain’t bad.
