Three Lions on a Blip
Naughtily rode Biscuit to work again last night but this did mean we could bimble home the long way this morning :-)
Main blip (RobinDown will know the location) is not the most handsome of romping Lions. In fact he looks like he may have escaped from a theme park. Currently prowling around outside a Pub that will once have been vaguely adjacent to a WW2 aerodrome...our Lion & Pub are now right next to a busy Airport although the last two WW2 era hangars have only recently been demolished.
Extras 2 & 3 as Ms.Arell will know are Lions too. The King George VI era Post Box near Hazel Grove and the K6 Telephone Box in Stockport's Merseyway Shopping Centre looking a little worse for wear were both made by Lion Foundry Ltd of Kirkintilloch, Scotland.
I think today is Boxing Day whatever that means. A Bank Holiday for some (enjoy!). I'm off the bed...zzzzzz
