Finally a day off.

Originally I had planned to be out and about all day with the camera, something you will know I've not had time for just lately. I was just heading out the door when the phone rang....

My brother-in-law Arran needed my help. Apparently his wife had taken her mum away for a few days holiday on the West coast of Scotland and he had stayed at home against their wishes by telling them he had to work. He lied! He didn't have to work and sneakily had actually taken a few days off in order to surprise them on their return by giving two rooms in the house, bathroom and main bedroom, a complete makeover. He said the it was all going well and the plan was coming together in plenty of time until late last night, they had called to say they were coming home a day early! Panic! He needed my help to finish the work so off I went early this morning to his home. I'm just back now, job complete, and goodness me are they in for a surprise.

Anyway, I completely forgot about an photograph until Arran asked during one of our tea breaks if I would take some images of the family cat. So ladies and gents, allow me to introduce Jasper who, I must agree, is not looking too impressed at me with camera in hand. In fact, this was the only image I captured. In a flash he dashed for cover never to be seen the rest of the day.

Home now, my good deed done, It's ime for a well deserved G&T.
