Wallingford Castle
I walked around Wallingford with the spaniel this morning. Our route included the grounds of Wallingford Castle which was started in 1067. At one time it was one of the largest and most important castles in England, controlling the crossing of the Thames. It was largely destroyed by the Parliamentarians during the Civil War.
Unfortunately our daughter E has gone down with covid. I suppose we will find out soon enough whether our boosters have been effective.
