Boxing Day

Ach weel, don’t you just know it.  After spending a few days in the Macmillan Ward in Kirkwall’s Balfour Hospital, Dougal is no longer with us.  He passed away late on Christmas Eve.  Only the day before his wife, Kathleen, had spent the evening with us.  Despite all the high quality treatment he had received, both in Kirkwall, and In Aberdeen, it was all to naught.  Sadly, for the last 14 months, the quality of his life was gradually becoming more compromised. 
 
The flags will be at half mast at East End Park tonight.
