Escape to the lake

We drove up the mountain for a ski, but there were so many people, and so much chaos, that we drove straight home again. Walked at the lake this afternoon where there were also far too many people, but we could at least see the view and admire the mountains. Felt like a spring day. We’re in for a shock when winter returns at the end of this week.
