Grasmere, Lake District.

Great forecast so got up early and made sandwiches and coffee and packed cake and scones (in case everywhere was closed). Journey up was stunning. Parked at Ambleside and walked via Rydal Hall, round Rydal Water and Grasmere. Grasmere was closed (which was fine :-) luckily the buses were running otherwise W and I have had to walk back, still £2 each! Bought some hot chocs for W in Ambleside and looked round a new bike shop. Another great drive home.
