Puddles and reflections

We went to do our usually Tuesday grocery shop and town was insanely busy! Lots of shops were closed, but the main clothing store, the hardware store and Old Salty, all owned by one family, had everything in all three on for 50% off. The lineups were crazy, out the doors, line ups to get in, long lines at the cash registers. I thought I might look for some pillowcases, but I don't need a bargain that badly to fight crowds! Neither of us needs or wants anything, so we didn't bother with the sales. The grocery store was much less busy than usual, so that was a treat!
We thought of going for breakfast. The one place that was open had a huge lineup, so we didn't bother and decided that leftover lasagne for lunch would do. It might become our new traditional Christmas dinner, it was so good!
I talked to my cousins who live close to Duncan on Vancouver Island this morning, and they talked about the heavy rain they'd had last night. I said that I didn't think we had any. Then this morning G asked me if I'd heard the rain and wind, so apparently we had but I was sound asleep! There were some puddles around town, and I liked the reflections in this one.
