Visiting friends from Hong Kong

And they are here!!!! Dette, June and their son Daniel, who's just finished his degree at QUT.

They were up after lunch and after a quick refresh drink and look around our home, we headed out to Noosa main beach so they could get the Noosa vibe ... which they loved.

I took them to the Laguna Lookout which gives you wonderful views of the Noosa hinterland. 
 
Then drove down to Hastings and miraculously found a parking space!!!! Hallelujah!! We walked around the beach front, then down Hastings street, finishing off with drinks and chips at the Surf Life Club. They loved Noosa.

We went home to have an Aussie BBQ dinner complete with prawns! And caught up on all that's happening in HK, our friends there.  I got a bit teary and nostalgic at one point.  There is so much history with our friends there .... it is very special indeed.  This was the first time I have really missed our life in HK and the wonderful memories, friendships we have made there.

Goodbyes were hard but Dette and Jun said they'd love to come back and visit again, so hopefully we will see them again!
