2023 Monday — It’s Christmas

A tour of our day . . . as we started our morning doing our daily Bible reading our daughter joined in with us and I opened a tiny box of See’s chocolates . . . early afternoon we made s’mores at our fire pit on the top patio (please notice Mr. Fun’s marshmallow) . . . the pups enjoyed their chew bones while we played with fire . . . then serious culinary work began in the kitchen . . . with Deidre’s (Dede) parrot Doodle watching from her perch . . . the decorations added dazzle . . . then the preparation ends and the oinking begins as we pig-out . . . turkey breast, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, sautéed green beans, sourdough rolls, cranberry sauce with added ginger and orange . . . while the day turns to night our daughter reads to us from her December devotional . . . and outside Father God is painting the sky and lifting the moon, the full moon, over our backyard hill . . . our bellies are full and our emotions are too. We’ve enjoyed ourselves a merry little Christmas.
