It’s rained ….. and rained ….. and rained.

The furthest I got today was the garden. In the morning to feed the birds and in the afternoon to get a blip in what I think was the only dry few minutes. Father Christmas brought me a new pair of hiking socks (in the photo) ….. and a torch, a book, a box of chocolates and a pair of Herdy socks. The boots I bought a few months ago.

Family are on their way but they set off later than planned as the weather forecast showed less heavy rain in the afternoon. Then they had to turn back because the road was closed (flooding) and come a different way. They’ll be here soon.
