Bit of a change in the weather after yesterday’s blue skies. I got kitted out in the wet-weather gear this morning to brave the elements and have a run round the park. In the event, it wasn’t quite as bad as I had anticipated, although there were some strong gusts at times which made things a bit difficult. Not the sort of day to sit on the park bench and admire the castle and skyline.

I’ve just been out again for a short walk along the street as it gets dark and the temperature has risen quite a bit. Still a bit damp though. I think, for the moment at least, we are escaping the worst of Storm Gerrit.
