The Narrows

Between Vancouver Island and Salt Spring Island there is a very narrow straight called the Sansum Narrows. The tidal currents can be quick and dangerous, and cougars have been known to swim across (so they say). It’s a beautiful part of a very beautiful part of the beautiful gulf islands. Yeah… I love it here!
