Friends reunited

What a treat to have a visit from pals Anne and Christina for coffee this morning, especially as it was the first time since Christina's lovely dad died a few weeks ago. Sad at any time, but particularly around this time of year.

A horrible day of relentless heavy rain which has caused lots of local flooding. Needless to say, I haven't crossed the threshold.
