Today Cyclops and CyclopsJnr completed a model of the Sydney Opera House in micro lego style bricks, that Cyclops brought back from his recent visit.

The main excitement of the day was that CyclopsJnr was allowed to walk to the newsagent on his own to buy a jelly snake.  This is his first time doing so unsupervised and he said he felt very grown up.  It was facilitated by his receiving a mobile phone (not a smart one) for Christmas so he could keep in touch.  

We took Granny home this afternoon, stopping for a hot chocolate on the way.  There was a little minor flooding on the roads and we saw one tree that had come down as a result of the storm.

The day included games of Zombie Dice, Nerf target shooting, Tetris and Articulate.
