Christmas Angel

It has been a foul day, weather-wise, so it was good opportunity to catch up with correspondence, including thank you notes. Our friend, L,  who two and half years ago suffered a severe cardiac incident and heart attack at the age of fifty, restricting  her life somewhat since, has been getting creative, and gave us a present of a collection of tree ornaments she had made. I particularly like this angel.  
This evening we've watched the second of the Royal Institution lectures about AI, on BBC 1. It was interesting, but also slightly alarming, to realize just  how much AI is already affecting our  lives.
