Cold Moon

This collage is made up of my evening walk yesterday, in which I captured a beautiful, almost, full moon through some trees. This particular moon, after the Winter Solstice is called the Cold Moon or Long Night Moon and it only happens every 19 years or so.   This is why one photo from yesterday night has been allowed into my collage of the colourful sky taken this morning from my balcony!

The full moon was actually on Tuesday December 26th, so it was slightly on the wane in this capture.

The sky this morning was gorgeous, in rich tones of sunny yellow, pink and blue. It does mean a change in the weather to come though.
