Storm Gerrit

It’s been a very very wild and wet day. I walked B at Hazlehead in what felt like a monsoon. We retreated to the cafe where the staff outnumbered customers. In the afternoon D took the dog out again but only for 15mins as it was so windy she thought she’d be blown over. I later learned that a pals brother was blown over and spent the day in A&E. There has been predictable road and rail delays and we’ve postponed for 48hrs a trip to Dunira.
Compared with recent yellow Met Office weather warnings this felt more like an amber.
