Vestiges of Christmas

My roses and a few satsumas left:). Otherwise it’s all done. When I woke up this morning I thought I’d better try to remember what day it was. A good thing, as it was Wednesday - and the Oxfam shop would be open as normal. Saw my visitor off for her drive back to London - slightly worried as it was so stormy and the wind was wild. In fact her journey went well. Later, as I walked from my car to the shop a flying lump of tree fell on my head! It can’t have been that big as it didn’t do any damage, but it did hurt, and really shocked me! A very different afternoon as there were no regular Wednesday people there, so there was a bit of getting to know strangers, which was lovely.
