Everywhere going in and out of the villages you see the rubber boots hanging upside down from the village signs, hung up by our farmers, one of many ways to show their protest.

Farmers' protests are a hot topic in Germany. They are protesting against the government's tax plans and demanding the preservation of agricultural subsidies.
