The Plough

The light was lovely as we headed through Rosemarkie this afternoon. This is The Plough pub. We’ve only been there once it’s much larger on the inside than it looks from the outside.The road on the right is now one-way which is much better and with the 20 mph limit is much safer.
We drove down to the bird hide.The tide was in , quite a few birds around but in the distance.
We stopped at Cromarty and had a white hot chocolate from Laura in the Slaughter House.
I spent some of the day outside, sweeping up more oak leaves. I could hear the water gushing down the burn. A bit more rain later in the day and it’s turned colder again.
