Blue Sky

……………………………………….this afternoon. This picture belies how wet I’d got walking to the beauticians about 20 minutes earlier. I did manage to walk to the end of the prom and back without getting any wetter.

It’s been windy on and off all day and set to carry on overnight but so far we’ve escaped the worst of the storm. My friends finally arrived home shortly after 5pm tonight, they eventually ended up back where they started late last night…it being the only inn with enough rooms for and the ability to feed a coach load of people! They had enjoyed their little break though.

A little post Christmas domestic goddessing today, sorted out the food and made a pan of stock with the turkey remains. Enjoyed a cheesy baked potato with some roasted veg and ham for tea.

A trip to “the Toon” tomorrow for a rock concert at the City Hall with a couple of school mates…I’m not sure I’ll survive it! We’re staying overnight so we’ll have time to put the world to rights.
