Not skating

I slept badly with odd dreams about open topped buses in West High Street!  Too tired to get up and go to the gym but I made up for that with 2 trips to 163 in very, very humid weather.

The plan was to go ice skating.  However, on the first trip we discovered that you needed socks and gloves which we did not have.  Had to go to H&M and buy gloves, 2 pairs one size adult ones for RM10 (£1.70) in the sale!

Lunch then a race back up so Amelia would have an hour.  Olivia didn't want to skate. Amelia did pretty good for a first time with the help of Bobby, and met a friend.

Back at HK we were so hot we went for a swim to cool down and the girls played with their friends. I went home just after 6 and cooked my meal, which is a bit of a challenge given the lack of utensils and containers.  However, I managed it with a psychological thriller from Netflix and a glass, or two, of wine with plenty of ice.
