WW2 RAF Grimsby

Had some great meetings today, and at the National Fishing Heritage Centre picked up a booklet detailing all the little airfields that featured so much in WW2. There's 8 around here, many now abandoned. You drive past and don't realise what they were or what they once meant.

We've resolved to visit them all.

Very sad, very poignant, in many ways.
