An Unusual Sight

Spotted this mama duck on the lawn by the creek around eight o’clock yesterday evening.  She was all puffed up and there were two (that I could see) tiny moving balls of fluff under her chest.  It is not unusual to see tiny ducklings on the lawn with mum but we’ve not seen this before.
Today traffic is streaming into town. Rhythm and Alps starts today/this evening - an open air rock festival - so there are hundreds of people - mostly young - pouring into town.  We oldies will definitely stay home!
