Adam andTomoko headed off first thing and then we spent a bit of time tidying. Watched some cyclocross in the afternoon (gonna make more of an effort to follow the winter season in future years) and pushed the sofa closer for some Xbox sessions.

Popped down the pub with Jane, Ev, Sevan, Steve, and Courtney in the evening (annoyed I didn’t get a picture). These days it always takes me a while to warm up into socialising mode — I am generally so out of practice beyond lunch with my two PhD colleagues — but it was a really nice evening once I’d settled.
