Meet Joyce

That’s Joyce on the right and she is somewhat of a legend in this part of the world.  Often referred to as the Queen of Augusta, at 88 she is still hitting a mean golf ball and has won the summer 9 hole golf competition two weeks in a row.  I can honestly say, you wouldn’t meet a kinder more considerate person than Joyce and I have had quite a few games of golf with her since I started playing again in June.  That’s Sue on the left and Sue won the Augusta Masters this year.  It’s a much coveted event to win and both the men and the woman receive either a green jacket or cardigan.  This follows the tradition of the Augusta Masters in the USA.  I was pretty happy to be able to buy one of these great polo shirts recently.  They look great and really reflect what the water looks like when you go to the ocean in these parts.
