Northern Marsh Orchid (Dactylorhiza purpurella)

I was on dog duty today for a friend, which meant a lovely lunch time stroll through the grounds at work with her two labradors.

The flower meadow was looking rather lovely and once you got your eye in there were lots of Northern marsh orchids (Dactylorhiza purpurella). I had to be quick to take this though as the dogs were racing off to rockery woods and I had to keep up.
