Antiques at Jamesfield.

Not feeling at my best but went off to meet Veda at Jamesfield for lunch,  The roads were better and the sun was shining but there were still flooded areas to negotiate. Arrived in time but there was no sign of Veda and the restaurant had  no record of us being booked for lunch that day or the next week.. Waited for just over half an hour then drove back home and phoned Veda to find she thought we were meeting tomorrow. I was so exhausted and fed up with flooded roads that we agreed to cancel and fix a new date sometime in January. Later on my cousin in law John phoned from Glasgow and we had a long chat after which I lay on the sofa drinking endless cups of tea, reading and looking forward to a few days of peace. quiet and solitude.
