A beauty framed by frost

This is the Lappee church bell tower. The church is about 100 meters behind the tower. I took my blip on 13th of Dec from the top floor to the opposite side. I really like this Neo-Gothic architecture from 1856 and it looks really beautiful in the middle of those big, frost-covered birches. 


The tower has 24 (+1) windows and therefore the local parish has used the tower as an Advent calendar and every day a new star has been lit in the windows. 25th window is above the door on the other side and that star was lit by the Bishop Of Diocese of Mikkeli after the Christmas night Mass.
