Late Again

He's looking surprised with a, 'You made it then!'  look .... as l was late to the party but third time lucky today  - a pair of waxwings not so very far from our house!!

In-between the rain storms I headed over the motorway bridge to the estate which the waxwings had reputedly via Twitter been sighted. It was a last chance saloon really and honestly couldn't believe my luck when peering through the windscreen I spotted two in a tree.  Parking up on double yellows ... as you do ...I shot out of the car camera akimbo. Half an hour later they had moved around a bit and I got better light; not great but better.
