Edinburgh skyline

With today's weather looking decidedly better than several days round about it, I travelled through to Edinburgh by train to meet Cousin Alison for lunch in Urban Angel. 

While it was lovely to have a good catch-up with Alison, I couldn't wait to escape from the crowds thronging everywhere! 

This was the view from Waverley Bridge at 14:21, while the Balmoral Hotel behind me - see extra - was still in bright sunshine.
