Moro
The students had their last day at school leaving a trail of wine and flowers, I met some charming new students for next year and then had a pleasantly early trip home to find joyful boys with Mrs P.
After a bit of fettling, I took Mrs P to the Hotel in Deia to see the exhibition and then some tapas on the terrace with lovely Anna, Manolo hopping around as ever at out service and then I looked down at the wine I had ordered. A Ribuero del Duero, 'Moro'. I asked Big Agu, who had joined us, where the Moro I knew was, he of Liverpool descent who I fondly remembered slaving away in the kitchen at our wedding and then dancing on the tables later on.
I was so delighted to hear that he is now the chef, had made the beautiful canapes for the vernissage the other week and was coming out in a minute. I can't say how bowled over I was to see him taking on the challenge and couldn't help giving him a huge hug infront of the guests. Viva Moro!
So the sun set for us and after a beautiful drive home, the boys are snoring before their last day and Mrs P and I will be able to have a quiet morning.
