Biggest Beaches Ever

Breaking up the long journey home today we made a detour to get Tess out on a beach while the weather was holding out. The Northumberland coastline has some truly amazing beaches that seem to go on for ever (see extra for an alternative angle), especially if you see them from a "dog's-eye-view". The challenge is to find one that isn't too far away from the road you want to be on (we did have a ferry to catch) but also isn't too popular. Weirdly we found this one on Lindisfarne - I somehow doubt it would be this empty in the summer months!
