The view from our window in the Premier Inn at Manchester airport. Despite the bad reputation of the Trans Pennine Express, we had a totally trouble free journey. I like Premier Inns, predictable, comfortable, not too expensive. We were glad of the self checkin as there was a queue at reception. Which was nothing to the queue snaking out of the door when we came down for a very early dinner in a packed restaurant. Fish and chips of course, the only chance on this visit!

Now just chilling in our room, feeling in need of a restful evening.
