Mini Murmuration

Another steady relaxed day , I did go and check work after all the high winds thankfully all was ok and it was still standing.
This afternoon  we decided to get out for awhile and make the most of the fine weather and go find a blip. We decided to head late afternoon to Fiskerton fen in the hope there would be a big Starling Murmuration like in the past. Sadly there was only about 50 to 100 birds so no spectacle like we have seen in the past. There was a lovely late afternoon sunset forming so made a nice backdrop to capture the handful of birds.
We decided not to stay out long as it was rather cold and windy and it was the right choice as when driving home it started to spit with rain but thankfully not to fast.
A steady evening tonight watching a stream of the Lincoln which  they are getting beat 2-1 by Northampton at the moment fingers crossed they can pull it back
