Whooper Swans

Today I was up early and went for  a walk with Julia at The Crichton Estate. Later I took my son to WWT Caelaverock to see the Whooper Swans, Barnacle Geese that have migrated south to our shores for the winter. We were there for the swan feed so could view the swans and ducks close up from the observatory. We also went for a muddy walk around the reserve.
